Overview
AllWeatherUpdates shows weather forecasts and weather guides. You don't need an account to use the site, and we don't ask for your name, email or any other personal details. This page explains what data is used when you visit, and the choices you have.
Data We Use
- Server logs: like most websites, our server records basic technical information for each request (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time). These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working.
- Weather lookups: to show a forecast, your browser sends the city's coordinates (rounded to about 1 km) to our weather data provider.
- City search: the text you type in the search box is sent to the search provider to find matching cities.
Your Location
Approximate location (no permission needed)
On your first visit we show the weather for your approximate city. To do this, your browser asks BigDataCloud to estimate your city from your IP address. We don't store your IP address for this.
Exact location (only with your permission)
If you tap the location button, your browser asks for permission to share your location. If you allow it, your position is rounded to about 1 km and used only to find your city name and weather. If you have allowed this before, the site uses it again automatically. You can withdraw permission any time in your browser settings.
Cookies & Browser Storage
We use your browser's local storage (which works like cookies) to remember a few things. Apart from strictly necessary storage, nothing is saved without your consent.

Analytics & advertising cookies
We don't currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add services such as Google Analytics or Google Ads in the future, they will only be activated if you allow the Analytics or Advertising categories, and this page will be updated to list them.
Third-Party Services
Your browser connects directly to these services to make the site work. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Open-Meteo – weather forecasts and city search (terms & privacy)
- BigDataCloud – approximate location and city names (privacy policy)
- Google Fonts – the font used on this site (privacy policy)

Children
This site is a general weather information service and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
